Okay... I've had "carissa" as jcgavememusic in my community, now that she deleted her journal we realised she was creating a fake life, which was much like hers... but with kids, a boyfriend all that crap you know the drill... anyways, she comes back, as a guy, with a different username... find out it's her, now we have a boy that's called mansonmudvayne that was diagnosed

S/he doesn't sound like someone who is a highly-functioning autistic, but very much so like someone who is pretending to be, IMO. I can't stereotype/speak for everyone on the spectrum, but that's my gut feeling.

Yeah that's what I said... and a lot of people in my community... whoever this person/thing is... said that they can't even function a camera, yeah, I don't know a high functioning autistic that couldn't work a camera or whatever... but yeah... they seem to still play dumb... if you look at this link:

That right there is bullshit because my brother is high functioning Autistic and not only can he work a camera, but he can take it apart and rebuild it. Actually, that's pretty offensive that this person thinks Autistic people are dumb when some of the high functioning ones are smarter than most people.

This. Especially the way s/he brings it up in response to almost every question. I've not been following the Carissa thing very well, so I can't say if it's her or not, but I don't think there's any way this person is real. It reads like a faker who is just learning about autism and has decided it'd be fun to 'play' an autistic person.

That's bullshit, it's impossible to be diagnosed WITH autism at that early of an age. Autistic TENDENCIES, maybe...but even that is an awfully long shot. Also, that guy does not look sixteen. More like nineteen or twenty. I don't buy it, it just doesn't seem kosher to me.

Now here's what I'm wondering...are you logging IP addresses? Because that would definitely help you figure out if it is what you think it is.

Go to google and type in "IP address locator". I usually use the top three that turn up in the search. YOu have to check the location in multiple search sites because sometimes they will give you different answers. If I get the same location in all of them, I know it's accurate.

Who names their own photobucket account like that? I mean, surely you would know it's your account, and not do "Zakariapics". Odd, too, how there are only pictures in the account that look like they were ripped from Myspace (The filenames) and other junk that is probably used on the LJ. But it looks barely used/new, which is weird too, you know?

The name is.. weird too. Not saying no one would name their kid "Zakaria", but the spelling is weird, and he's supposed to be my brother's age. Kind of a 'trendy' name, you know? I've lived in Texas, and it seems more likely to me for someone to be named "Zachary" then Zakaria.

Do you have the original application of "Carrissa"? It might help so as to compare the writing style.

but yeah, I agree on logging IP's. Seems.. really odd. Maybe ask them to write something on a piece of paper and take a picture? (You could write that into the rules of your community.)
