I've just realized something. No wonder I rarely update anymore! I've just been looking through my friends list, and I've realized that my would-be audience either has stopped using their journal or hates me. Allow me to demonstrate my findings.
I currently have 35 friends, not counting one that I just added a few days ago.

I update 24/7 all the time. Helps with the whole excessive memory-loss thing I've got goin'. Example: Someone "Hey. What have you been up to?" Me *checks journal* *reads off entries*

i dont understaaand! what do you mean you cant read them?? i dont use any special lists to update anymore, unless they're just private entries...and if thats the case, those are usually just little reminder-type deals for myself.

anyway. hi, yeah, you have a phone right? you can CALL people to keep in touch. i have a phone, you have a phone...pretty much everyone on your list, im sure, has a phone, or knows where a pay-phone is...so whats the problem? MAYBE YOU SHOULD GET ONLINE SOMETIME AND ACTUALLY BE ONLINE. hmmmm interesting thought. at least when im online and i have an away message up, im usually there. geez, kevin whats your deal?

alright alright kev, i'll try harder... it's not that i'm busy with the texas people, it's just that nothing terribly interesting happens here. or at least, nothing terribly interesting that i want everyone to be able to read about... maybe i'll switch the damn thing to friends-only.

oh, and i agree with the person who mentioned myspace. it's far faaaaar more annoying than livejournal, but maybe that's why people like it...
