Sometimes I wish I could break free of a few of my old attachments, but wishing doesn't change things.
I am completely unable to get rid of Big Bulk (whose treasured object's name is weirder?) my big pink comforter, even though now he's all scratchy and ugly and lumpy. When I sleep with him, it makes me feel like I'm 7 or 8 again, back in my bed in Monrovia, with Kiwi purring on my legs and Frisky and Snowflake making their little nibbly noises and running in their wheel. I can smell that house, too ^_^.
My mom's tried at least a dozen times to help me get rid of him, and everytime I start crying without being able to help it (last time was only a couple months ago)! It's so silly. I loveses me some Big Bulk ^_^''.
Ha, yeah, I distinctly remember the smell of your old house in monrovia too. I dunno if I ever met big bulk, maybe I have. Maybe one night we can have a sleepover with our old sleeping objects.
That's awesome. I think my sister has my old teddy bear, which was named.... ummm... I think just "Brown Bear." ("Teandae Lippity Dippidy." beats it out fo shizzle.) I guess I was a bit of a literal kid. But I still sleep with the same blanket that I have had since I was about 8.
