I like the start of this. You have given Hannah a bit of an edge - quick wittedness, which wasn't readily evident in the show. '“Oh…” Hannah said. “Truth then. If I come home covered in silly string again my dad’s just going to ground me.”'<-This really got me giggling. It was very droll and very in-step with Veronica and Lilly's wit. I can see why Logan likes this Hannah.

I like the way you handled Veronica's epiphany. The abruptness of it is very Veronica-esque. For an observant girl,
she was tragically unaware of her own feelings.

I'll be interested to see how Logan, Lilly and Duncan handle the declaration of love from Veronica. Why is Duncan so angry over Logan's dating Hannah? There has to be something more tangible than 'he didn't tell me...'

Ooo...good start!! I always kind of liked Hannah too, in spite of her role as roadblock to Veronica and Logan, so I totally understand Veronica's feelings toward her. Looking forward to part 2!!

Eek is it bad that I totally want to hit Hannah upside the head...and solely because she is in the way of LoVe? And I want to hit Logan even more...because I can't tell if he's really invested in Hannah, or if he's using her as a substitute.

Love how this starts, and I really look forward to seeing what comes next!

Oh my dear and fluffy lord -- this is AH-MAY-ZING. Seriously, seriously excellent. I have a soft spot for fic where Lilly lives and is outrageous but friendly, where Veronica is still kick-ass but a slightly less brittle and volatile version of herself. I was never all that crazy about Hannah, but I think a lot of that stemmed from the way she was contrived and used by RT and co. in Season 2 (disastrously, to say the very least). Low and behold, you've actually made me like her! You've made her sympathetic! Wonders never cease.

I also completely adore the way you've written the Logan/Veronica dynamic -- not to schmoopy, not too sweet, but with genuine affection tinged with that snarky, snappy edge.

They fought passionately and with no regard, happy to allow one to sharpen their wit on the other. They argued sometimes, but those moments of antagonism, when she managed to get under his skin or him under hers, passed easily.PERFECTION
