iPods are overrated and expensive anyways. You're better off without it.

so now how are we supposed to listen to music in the car when we go to hawaii with your ipod and my itrip broken? assuming we get a rental for a few days. I hope to hitch hike as much as possible. do you have portable speakers? like the little cheapie lightweight ones you can just plug in to the ipod? do any of your friends have 'em?

I thought my iPod had died a few times in the last few months as well. For some reason restoring it, and resetting it several times revived it.

yeah i tried restoring it a couple times. I got it to turn on without the !folder icon but it won't mount in itunes and it freezes the program. It takes forever to do anything through the computer and it makes a weird noise that doesn't sound healthy.. oh well.
