I'm listening to the Mercury Prize nominated Guillemots, one CD I actually bought for once. I have bought a lot of CDs this year, they're a lot better than downloading. It is such a beautiful album, I say it a lot about albums that are usually solemn and sad. There is a lot of light and colour in this album though. I reckon it might win the Prize, ( Read more... )

I only went for the first night, didn't bother on the second. Saw/heard Ministry, which wasn't my cup of tea so we had a walk around and sat in a beer tent. Then we went and watched the first part of Franz Ferdinand (who I don't really like but thought were good live), and then went and watched the Pet Shop Boys on the pop stage (which was actually quite good).
Enjoy (although I don't think I could stand the tents and toilets at a Festival like Reading) :-P.
