Spent my birthday money buying Beck's back catalogue. Oh my it is good. "Sea Change" is probably the most depressing album I have ever heard, not exactly full of the same sort of fun other Beck albums have, still quite colourful and beautiful though. The string arrangement to "Lonesome Tears" is incredible. "Odelay" is a lot more heavy, and I can ( Read more... )

Well that game must have been pretty dull for most of it. The guy watching it on Sky Sports went mad when Villa scored their first goal. He used to be a Villa player apparently. So no bias there.

I find it strangley interesting that Saddam's half brother was decapitated apparently when he was hanged last week. They screwed up the rope, and he had spinal cancer supposedly.

Did you check out the pub guide in my LJ? Should give you a good reference.

Any hey, Leicester were supposed to be on TV against Birmingham right now, but the wind blew the roof off a hotel and it landed around the stadium and so the game was called off. Probably for the better anyway.

I saw the hotel roof from Upperton road the other day, just over the bridge. It looked a bit crazy, there was also damage to a few other buildings about the place. It was so windy that weekend, and I loved the snow recently to. Although shame it didn't really settle that much! did come out from a club the first time round and that was massive fun!

Yeah I think the game is up for Watford now. Villa have sunken back into their usual boring form. I went to see them play West Ham last weekend and it was pretty much the same. To be honest I'd rather be decapitated than watch Villa again. I haven't actually watched that whole Saddam video yet, don't know if I really ever want to!

No I don't want to either. However evil he was, I don't wanna see someone die.

Last time I saw Villa was when Leicester were in the Premiership and they beat us 5 nil at our ground, and some crazy fan ran on the pitch and Ian Walker (our goal keeper at the time) beat him up. So I don't wanna watch Villa again either.
