I have come out of hiding to talk about my love for Colin Firth/Mark Darcy. I decided to celebrate my last formal medical school class by renting Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason also because I finished the reading the book. Clearly not as good as the original film, but Colin Firth/Mark Darcy is still very sexy. That alone made the whole thing

hey--funny timing b/c i just today finished watching edge of reason, as my aunt had sent me her used copy and i only got my new dvd drive in the mail last week (bought off ebay).
frustratingly, that particular dvd played kinda skip-pingly (even though it doesn't appear scratched up) & i dunno why, but i made it thru anyway- i think i'd only seen that movie once before. i def have some probs w/it including that so much of the story is based on recycled/rehashed material from the first and clearly much better film, but you're right that colin is a hottie nonetheless! ;-)
