Aww...I wish more people would write fics about Jesse's time as a student. It makes me almost thankful that he had the opportunity to work with Walt later, even though it probably made Jesse worse off in the long run. I know how Jesse feels when he stares down at the worksheet, having taken chemistry from a notoriously difficult teacher.

(This is HowLikeaWinter, by the way, although you probably figured that out XD)

I was hoping S3, with all its flashbacks, would include one of Walt and Jesse in highschool. Alas.

Brilliant character study. I love to muse what Jesse was like before he dropped out of school and what happened to him. I love your take on his character, so frantic and yet unable to be consistent.
