HELLO THERE! I finally did it!
PB and LJ were both lagging. I resized them 400x300 but PB turned their quality..... low. So, I resized them again to 600x400, but LJ resized them..... small.
I let them be. Click to enlarge. It's annoying but I recommend it.
2009/10/9 EXPLORING UENO
We arrived to Narita Airport in the noon.
First we traveled over an hour with train to Ueno stn and then took a taxi to our hotel.
Our hotel room's futons. The blankets = ♥
"Home street". Our hotel was in Yushima, very near to Ueno and Akihabara.
Walking towards Ueno. We spend there the whole day.
There~ (stupid cement truck.)
Plastic food.
Japanese electricity.
Real food.
AbAb the mall and SweetsParadise the crêpe-place = paradise on Earth ♥
Ueno by night.
Ueno park by night.
Pachinko. The noice coming out from there was incredible.
2009/10/10 TOKYO IN OUR HANDS
Heading to subway first in the morning. lol I loved all of those "how to behave"-posters ♥
Lockers in a subway stn.
Going towards the central Tokyo.
ahahahhahahah
From a map of Imperial Palace East Gardens. Next 7 pics are from there.
haha paparazzed Veera.
Those taps were just scary! You turned the knub juuust a little, very carefully and whoom, it did that.
♥
Tokyo Tower!
Some houses were weird.
Rainbow bridge!
yez I was there too.
In a river boat, going from Ginza to Asakusa.
Asahi Super Dry Hall from the boat. The pic kinda sucks but the building.... hahahhahah--
Actually, after taking that pic out camera's battery died so. To the next day.
2009/10/11 ALL THE PIECES ARE "HIKARI"
Shinjuku in the morning, baby.
A large group of builders who built some kind of canopy super fast in the middle of Shinjuku's morning jam.
We found a flea market from a temple in Shinjuku but it was kind of poor. About 5 sellers. Very little stuff.
Yes, that pic is from there.
The temple where the flea market placed. It was pretty.
Nanba-senpai (idk the actors name) was everywhere :O That's from Shinjuku.
Shinjuku's weird builing.
YAAAAAAAAK. There where clumbs D:
After Shinjuku: Harajuku! The gate to the temple side of Yoyogi park. I never really went to the park side.... crycry.
It was more dark but I didn't get a good photo of the weird light.
There were very much little children dressed in kimono or suits and small babys dressed fancy at the Yoyogi temples. It was some kind of festival or religion even, I actually have no idea. Those two girls were so cute syran
Yoyogi bridge. We were suprised cos there were actually a very little lolitas and other freaks. You'll soon see why.
wut :OOO
People in front of H&M and Forever 21. Both stores were crowed; we had to queue to Forever 21.
After going around H&M, Forever 21 and Laforet with Veera we headed back to Yoyogi park.
Those two..... don't ask.
♥
That was really common. They keeped their dogs in carts and carried their childs on their arms.
The reason why we got back to Yoyogi park was that my and Veera's moms wanted to show us where the youngster (the freak ones) spent their time. They tought Yoyogi Daiichi Taiikukan was just a new place to them to hang put, but soon I realized this:
They were waiting for sid.
Cos the pics are going in the order of time, I'll tell more about that after this one pic.
After seeing some freaky youngsters we went to see.... more of them! Ladies and gentelemen, Takeshita dori.
We had some coffee and did a little shopping, but then I decided I want this to happen:
I bought a ticket to sid's almost tour final.
;O; an aweosme night!!
It was really scary to go alone with tens thousands japs to look for my place. First I went to the opposite side of the hall but with help of friendly proctors I found my place. I had two places behind two Wentern metalheads (who had fun :___D), veeery high but still near the stage. The hall was huuuuge and there were just about 4 empty chairs.
sid was lovely syran Mao was cute, Yuuya was super cute (big fan, big fan), Shinji was hyperactive and Aki....jerked :_____D They played 2 of my 3 official sid favorites, Dear Tokyo (obv) and Natsukoi (♥), so I missed Namida no ondo, but Aikagi and Hikari kind of replaced it. Esp. Hikari was really great live ♥ All the members had their own spotlights and they stayed still and just played/singed. I still remmeber it's end when Mao first putted his hand against his chest, then singed "ima wa chiisana hikari" and showed how small light it was with his thumb and forefinger.
Everyone knows Japanese audience is always very shy and stays always still and doesnät jump even the bands tells them to, right? It was really like that (I felt so ...wild when I jumped and yelled and screamed lol), but Dear Tokyo's chorus was still awesome. Everyone singed so hard no one could hear Shinji, Aki and Yuuya's voices ♥ And the furi! Were really easy! And looked cool!
Ahhh they wre so cute and cool and awesome. No winder why they're so popular in Japan.
2009/10/12 SHIBUYA LOVE!
This was all-Shibuya-day.
Hachiko. Was really small and not photogenic.
109 2. I didn't visit it, but my mom did (lol). She asked do I know a place where she could find clothes to my bro and I said 109 2 and warned her about the brown, blond, scary boys there. When she got out of there she was all "......Those boys :OOOOOOO *shocked*" and I was like haha I told you so hahha.
109.
We spent there a lot of time with Veera but didn't visit all of the floors. It's too big to Finnish girls.
When we were shopping, moms went around Shibuya. This is my mom's view of the famous crosswalk.
THAT PINK GUY!!!!! LOVE HIM!!!
After shopping we went to see the love hotel area and then idk, somehow the pics just end.
2009/10/13 ZOO
First in the morning we went to some kind of suburb. By subway ofc.
My Vanses from Harajuku plus cherry blossom.
Normal houses.
This was a zoo day because FIRST we saw a huge black butterfly
THEN we saw a shy cat.
Then we went to a park...
AND saw a tortoise
AND a crab!
A beautiful pond
and ANOTHER tortoise!
ok.
stalked ehehhehehe.
A museum of modern arts that was closed. Actually that museum was the reason we came to the suburb but we just kaughed and started to walk back to the subway stn.
A normal house?
YES
wut x2
Back in the city. Ginza from a train stn.
Going to Odaiba by train.
Rainbow bridge!
In Odaiba. Somehow in the middle of the modern buildings was a pretty field.
Yes, still in Tokyo.
We went to the beach. The water of the Pacific ocean and the weather were warm enough for swimming, but people looked so autumn-ish ://
I had to put this here cos THE DOG ♥ it had no brain. It just ran around and looked stupid ahahha.
Plus that couple there. ♥
;O;
A pretty clock ring I bought from Claire's and eventually left to Narita's bathroom. yeah it cost only about Y1000 but it was so pretty--
Yes, that's a mall.
From outside.
I bought pink sparkly nail polish.
2009/10/14 LET'S TOURIST
Early in the mornig we traveled to.... there where teh big fish marked places. It was huge :O
Those two pics are my mom's view of the fish market. I like the second one a lot. That's what it was like.
....and that's my view.
We tasted sencha near the market.
Walking to Ginza.
Weird building.
That park was very beautiful syran It's somewhere near Ginza and it costs a little to get in, but it's worth it.
awww those fish.
From this park we subwayed back to Ueno, and I and Veera met up with my friend Fiia who's in Japan as an exchange student this year. We went to karaoke. ♥
In Shinjuku again. Shinjuku Government Office Building. We took an elevator to the 45th floor which is open for tourists.
Me above Tokyo with my Harajuku boots, Ginza sweater and Shibuya beret.
Tokyo by night.
2009/10/15 KAMAA JA KURAA JAPANESE STYLE
We took a train to Kita-Kamakura early in the morning. Veera and I sleeping.
The first temple we visited. It was big and beautiful.
There were a lot of children singing in the temple. So cute ♥
The second temple.
Am I the only one who finds this scary?
We walked a hiking road from Kita-Kamakura to central Kamakura.
ok.
We found this lovely coffee house on our way to Daibutsu. Those two had started their cafe two weeks ago and were really friendly. We must've been their first customers... The woman came to say "kiitos is thank you very much!!" and gave me and Veera little plastic bags full of really tiny origami birds her mom had made.
We found Daibutsu and near it some schoolgirls found us.
Daibutsu aka the Great Buddha.
More schoolgirls. They asked a lot of questions and spoke better English than their teacher. Finland and Moomins were very sugoi.
The Pacific ocean.
A pretty view, eh? Look closely...
...yeah only stalking. ♥
Waking in the central Kamakura. It was surpraisingly very Hawaii-ish.
Cos we didn't find a good reastaurant from Kamakura, we traveled back to Tokyo and had dinner at out hotel. Those are our "stakes".
2009/10/16 DEAR TOKYO
On the last day we went around like all the places we visited during the trip. And not on purpose :O
Akihabara!
We actually went there already on the second day of our trip, but we went again to buy my bro an ipod.
A view from Shinjuku Park Tower's 3rd floor. We were in some kind of desing center idk. Decoration things.
Back on the 45th floor of Shinjuku Government Office Building. We went there hoping to see Fuji-san but no, it was too foggy ;O;
Shinjuku stn, the busiest station in the world. I'm 94% sure I saw Takuya there. Though the 6% seem to be winning this cos I realized Takuya doesn't have that orange hair than the guy I saw... But he looked so alike I'm still believing!
YES. YES YES.
......It's Shinjuku I think.
Back in Harajuku!
Takeshita dori.
lol it really looks like Beyonce's tour bus but they played Single ladies so hard from it's speakers so I wouldn't be sure that beyonce was actually in it :____D
Shibuya.
Schoolgirls in Ueno.
Asakusa.
sry about all the typos and grammar mistakes. And the way I'm writing. I'm very tired. And my back hurts.
Hope you still enjoyed and understood even a little about this o/
