Bleh, it's been really stormy here. I love thunderstorms, but these storms keep knocking out our internet and scaring my dog, haha. Oh well, at least we're not in Iowa, eh?
I love the weather XD I've got my little widget, too. The little elevator music on the Weather Channel is a major part of the background theme music of my life because my dad always has it on. He also carries this big gangsta weather radio where a scratchy computerized voice will tell you the windspeed and water conditions and occasionally shriek and die.
you don't know me or anything, but i think you're pretty cool. i admit that i used to frequent your website and read all your poetry and i know thats probably pretty geeky, but i just wanted to thank you for that. i'm going out on a limb saying this, and i might look pathetic, but i really got something out of that poetry, and i think it helped me understand some of my own feelings. so, thank you for that kind of understanding.
but anyway, my name is gary, and i live in pennsylvania. not exactly close to new york, but it's not exactly far away neither. last week we had a really humid heat index of 108° but this week has been really chilly (so much for global warming.). we've also been getting a lot of really windy thunder storms in between all of this though, but i like my time indoors when it's raining so i can't really complain about that.
YES. I have two different weather feeds on my personalized Google homepage! Weather.com is my bread and butter, though, because they like to use hilariously ambiguous words on their 10-day forecasts. :)
my grandfather sadly does the same thing. he tapes the weather channel actually, and in my grandparents basement is about 15 years worth of weather in pennsylvania. i already called dibs for this collection when he dies.
