PEOPLE IN MY CLASSES THAT INCLUDE THEIR PERSONAL LIFE IN EVERYTHING THE PROFESSOR TALKS ABOUT THAT THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHEN MAKING A STUPID FUCKING COMMENT NEED TO STOP

I couldn't agree more. It is difficult for people to separate themselves from the whole. This is like when white males in my history class say that white males are the most discriminated group because they specifically) couldn't get a scholarship. I wish people could divorce themselves from the discussion and look at society as a whole. one scholarship versus hunddreds of years of racism, classism, sexism and heterosexism. It is like people who say "the majority has spoken shut up and sit down" about the election. Those are the people that the system works for.
People who have never lived in poverty would like to act like the people who live in poverty do so because they deserve it. Thinking that the poverty may be caused by things that they (middle - upper class) do/have would be admitting that the society that they privilige from is responsible.
i thought after i got finished with my general requirements a 300 course would weed out ignorant assholes that make me leave class early. my professor isn't that great of a lecturer, but he really brings up a lot of amazing stuff that college students should probably become aware of if they aren't already. he yelled at the entire class for raising their hand when picking disposition as an option and said 'you're blaming the victim! no

haha i like this rant of yours. looks like the class is full of assholes who want attention or pity for their own plights, recognition and validation or something, yet they all think poverty is the result of innate disposition when it comes to others. what a bunch of morons. "I am important, but, ugh, those poor people."
