Failing my driving test :-( but not by much :-)
Having a wonderful time in Bristol :-) but having to leave :-(
Getting better at Why-Not :-) up until the point when I hit myself in the mouth with a club, pushing my lip onto my lower teeth and cutting into it :-(

So, a bit of a mixed bag.

Bad luck with the test, I'm sure you'll pass next time. I failed my first one as well (by nearly scraping the passenger side on a steel pillar, you should have seen the examiner flinch :-)

My instructor and I agreed that I would have probably passed under a different examiner, but nevermind.

My first test I failed for skidding in my emergency stop (which was a lie since everything flew into the footwells), the second I failed for mounting the curb in my reverse park, this one I failed for insufficient observation whilst reversing round a corner and straddling a lane approaching a roundabout. The pain is that everything's booked up until January for a re-sit so it'll be short-notice for the re-test and there's no point having lessons in between except for practice.

Of all of it, the leaving was the worst. I've got myself on the hold list for a test date but my centre gets really busy and I'm limited to Saturdays. Hopefully there will be a cancellation and I can get in there quick smartish. I want my weekends back!

I likewise failed the test on my first try but I think it made me more relaxed for the second one (which I passed).

It's a shame I missed you since I was in Bristol for most of the weekend but there'll be other times...

There will be other times. I only got in Saturday afternoon and left again Sunday afternoon. I did go to the uni juggling club on Sunday though.

I was a bit partied out by Sunday. I was vaguely intent on going to it but body was ensuring me that it would be a bad move. Oh well. Maybe next time.

WhyNot - it's a juggling pattern (which I may have spelled incorrectly): pass self pass self heff zip. It's something I need to get down before going to Germany in December in order to not show myself up too badly.

its always the silly things they fail you for... and its only after you're out on the road on your own do you become a better driver. Ah well, thems the rules and all that.
