Did the ep feel really rushed to anyone else?OMG,yes! I was wondering what the hell they were in such a hurry for. Not one scene slowed down enough to give the characters a chance to breathe and the soundtrack pounding along to EVERY SCENE was starting to grate on my nerves. I really hope this kind of pacing isn't what we'll be getting for the rest of the season. It felt like they really wanted to focus on the entire Dyad plotline and pulled the characters along to stress each point, instead of letting the audience have a chance to catch up with any individual character and what was going through their head (other than Helena and that was under the duress of being locked in a box
( ... )
I've not seen the episode yet but I've already heard tell that the Pete/Peggy clash was a bit of a non-event *sigh* What a waste. I'm really thrilled for the return of Betty/Glen though OMG (yes, I ship them and I'm freaky. I care not.)
Donnie/Alison are still the absolute BEST. Looking forward to more of them.
I agree that they use way too much scoring in Orphan Black. Great music selections which I appreciate but I wish they'd tone it down in the background of dramatic scenes. This is something BrBa always nailed.
Yeah, I'm still psyched for the rest of OB S3. I'm not too interested in bloody Dyad right now. Give me Helena, the Military and the Castor Clones first.
You are going to get a kick out of seeing Glen. Matt Weiner's son has slimmed down like crazy. The scene was actually a little hilarious, but a fitting end to the Betty/Glen saga. The cringe factor was high.
It was a non event, but it was nice to see Don playing dad to his two kids, again (I am referring to P&P). Sally had some great scenes, especially with Don. But then I love all Sally/Don scenes.
I'll be honest, Orphan Black always feels like a breakneck show-ride to me, so the premier was pretty much what I've come to expect. Not necessarily a bad. But I feel like the only characters I really ~know~ are Sarah/Allison/Helena? And maybe Felix.
