Ok so...what I did about the sleeping thing because my roommate does the most obnoxious thing (she has 3 alarm clocks that go off at different times and 1 underneath her loft that it takes her forever to turn off holy crap it sucks there's an alarm going off every 5 minutes for an hour and a half) was I bought earplugs. They fall out by the time that I have to wake up and even if they didn't I can still hear my alarm because its next to me and not across the room...i don't think I can help with the smell or the fact that hes an asshole though. Maybe if you can sleep the fact that he sucks will be more tolerable. You have my sympathy.
