Supernatural Catch-Up

I know that Lucky was a creepy stalker pooch - but I can't help it, I felt sorry for him.  Also, as much as I want soul!Sam back, soulless!Sam is cracking me up to no end.  Jared rocks the snide comments and disdainful glares.  I'd fetch that little red ball for him anytime.

Among my many books on faeries, there's one that does ponder the similarities between faeries and UFO Alien sightings.  I was pleased that the show included this because I don't think its found in the majority of faery lore.  Of course the X-Files references were fun, and soulless!Sam was too funny.  BOWIE, FTW!  I'm proud of myself for recognizing the significance of a red cap on a faerie, thanks to Charles de Lint BTW. ^-^ .  Overall I thought they did a pretty good job with the lore; I hope they do another faerie realm episode...there's so much to draw from there, and much of it can go quite dark and scarey, though I understand why they'd want to have more "fun" the first venture out.

The Good > demons funny when they called Sam n Dean on their "lil'bitchness"; I do like Meg 2.0 as much as original Meg; Sam and Cas scene both funny and omg!goosebumps = awesome; "pizza man" line goes in Cas' quote hall of fame.  The Bad > no more Crowley? Really?  :(  I was surprised he was apparently killed off as he was villian of awesomeness almost as awesome as Azazel.  Too soon, I say!  Too soon...; okay really getting tired of gratuitous nudity of women on the torture rack.  There is no need for it, and especially since Sam on torture rack in previous episodes was fully clothed.  No joke here, just sayin' make it consistant with the nudity, otherwise its obviously just the PTB getting their rocks off from leather-bound actresses.  SPECIAL GOOD MENTION > Sammy smiling with bloody teeth gives me the good shivers....
