Number one, you have always been good at the analyzation of feelings.. and you have succeed in that once again. We are all feeling that nostaliga for home (obviously your situation is worse), but it's there in all of us. And 20 years from now we will still have it. It's one of those things you have to deal with when you have the friends we have.
And Number two, as i said in my last comment... just hold in there. Yes, stay busy (i know it's the cheating way out of the emotions), but sometimes you have to take a break from it. And feel free to vent on anyone back home.. we don't mind long conversations.. true they'll have to be typed, but i know we'll listen. And just keep up your spirits, you're in a freaking different culture. Explore it, take a walk to a place you havn't seen yet, climb a different variety of tree, talk to a child in the street. Just don't miss out on the opportunity by missing home too much. we'll be here when you return. I promise

ooo my baby brother... please don't be sad. You are really not missing anything here it's boring as usual. My advice is to go for a run get your body going, write in your notebook and don't be afraid to pray for help evan. I know that sometimes it feels like we have gotten so far away but God will still listen to you when you are down and sad. Please trust that he will take care of you. Everything will be okay. I wish that I could have an evan hug or that I could pick up my phone and call you. but this is your time to spread your wings.. so damnit do it. Don't be afraid to fall God will send someone to pick you back up. I love you

Your sister is so right Evan. God is there, he can help you. You certainly do not have to do this by yourself and as cleche' as it sounds you have not been alone one second on this whole trip. God has been there. He watched you get on the plane to go and get off the plane when you landed he was right there next to you patting your back in that moment of fear before you met those cool girls who made you feel comfortable again, he watched as you told the spanish boy that you were waiting to have sex till marriage and he was proud of you, he smiled brightly when you got those colored socks as a present, and he is there with you now...in these moments when home is so far away and all whom you love are too...hes there and hes holding you tightly, giving you that quality hug and telling you... "Its ok my wonderful and pleasant son, I am here with you. You can cry and tell me how sad you are, and you can most definitly ask me to make it easier and more peaceful." This perhaps is a time of testing...God is allowing you to lean on him and at ( ... )

Yeah, its a horrible idea, it only makes you hate apple juice. You could drink one shot of vodka with a liter of apple juice and still taste every drop.
