it's the owl on my cd covers come to life! i love it. and the the writing. you're still saying things the way i wish i could...the not recognizing laugher but as "shotgun or car backfiring somewhere in the distance." ... "not a portrait but a landscape." well done. and the strange sweetness and obscurity of the end played an interesting role...i really like it. ...sure you're not a writer...sure.
