Midterm exams have passed with little incident, thankfully. Though it seems not all members of SEES are performing up to their true potential.

Perhaps I should look into enrolling them into summer school to help with their learning process. Hm... it shouldn't interfere too much with our responsibilities outside of the classroom.

Summer is to enjoy it, not to study. That's the purpose of summer, you are are going to make her sad.

Summer is not a being with emotions and feelings, Mr. Gilbert. And I can choose to spend my summer how I wish.

What exactly is 'summer school'?

Classes students attend during summer vacation, in order to help with their grades during the spring, fall and winter trimesters.

There's no reason you should. Summer school is nothing but beneficial.

Sounds like you're ruling with an iron fist there.

I wouldn't necessarily call it ruling, but sometimes, it's necessary.

Well but you consider yourself partially responsible for how well they do in school and in other things, too.
