did you prime it before you started sanding it?

also you have to get the primer that matches your paint
(latex to latex or oil based to oil based - if you use milk paint
they have their own primer...)

i don't have a primer for pre-sanding...i'm just staining it. i don't need primer for stain, right? and you're suggesting a primer BEFORE the sanding? i don't understand!

let me know if i'm missing some important detail here...

but i do have a sealant for it when i'm done staining. ugh if there's something i missed i'm gonna be upset.

oh i thought you mentioned something about how the paint didn't stick with the first coat....

"the light blue paint i bought for the front drawers didn't stick to whatever material they're made from (not wood)."

oooh. hmm...no, i didn't prime it. it seems like it's really weird plasticy-yet-not-plastic material.

it was very disappointing :( :( :( maybe that would work

it's a real shitty one--master mechanic hand sander. it was $36.

i wasn't investing huge amounts of money into an ikea dresser--the point was that i didn't want to invest money into buying a new one!

anyway i haven't seen you in years. we should hang.

how are your power tools? (if you know what i mean)
