I saw Star Trek Last night with my dad :]
The movie was actually REALLY good.
But the main thing I was thinking the entire time was....Damn...Spock is looking hot.
I think I might actually just start watching Heroes for Zachary Quinto now
Admittedly though, I have a very unique taste in guys. I like strange features and big eyebrows.

I can see both sides. Disregarding anything I know about Star Trek, I thought the space scenes were reallllly well done, but the fight scenes not so much. I got a headache watching them (it was like a strobe light f'sho).

Yeah... but the plot of the movie struck me as a commercial cop out to reinvent Star Trek with complete disregard to everything that came before it.

yeah I was definitly thinking "you crafty bastard JJ Abrahams...now no one can say you fucked up the plot cuz its an 'alternate universe'"
but still it was definitly fun, certainly for someone like me who doesnt know too much besides the basics of star trek.

I did think the fight scene with spock kicking the shit out of captain kirk was pretty awesome though. Spock hammer!!
