Your poor hand! Ack. But I'm glad to hear your rat is doing better.
And I love the SGA, too! *notices Rodney in your header* I am pacing myself, with it, though (code for: "I am slow, and it will take me another year to get through season 3").

I must confess, I bought the box sets, but I didn't watch every episode. You may have noticed that I tend to fixate on one or two characters in a series, and when I watch back episodes, I usually watch the ones important to those characters first.
I can't get enough of the fanfic, though. It's funny how different fandoms really do have slightly different fanfic cultures, and I like the absurdity of the SG:A one.
OMG YES. Can't wait to see how they deal with Teyla having a baby--it seems like the kind of thing that would have to change the entire team dynamic. I really want an episode where Ronon gets corralled into babysitting and tries to palm the task off on John, and then it turns out that the only person who can get the baby to calm down is Rodney. (or some variation of this idea) Can't you just see Rodney ranting and raving, waving one hand around wildly while gently cuddling a beby to his chest with the other? *melts*
Good to see you poking your head. Not much going on in K-Gal land. You missed work rants and memes from me. I am still working on your last outstanding fic request and will deliver even if it turns into a Birthday/X-mas present.
That would be the John/Tosh, right? it's only fitting that you haven't finished it, since I've barely started the John/Jack I promised you in return. =P I have not been so much feeling the fic-ness, lately, alas. D: Every time I go to work on fic, I get distracted by other ppls fic. Plus, nine-fingered typing=much more time consuming.
But! I have faith that it will someday be finished!
Missed you! Glad you are OK -- well, other than the tendon injury -yikes!- and the ill ratty :(
Last month, last month, hm. I wrote my first SGA-only fic. There was a kerfluffle when a Housefic contest was announced, and when a couple of us LJ Housefic writers questioned the rules (such as minimum of 15,000 words "because it must be that long for proper character and plot development" and NO BETAS ALLOWED), the organizer a) didn't answer the questions, and b) got offended and retracted the contest. Oh, the other amusing thing was the organizer said, "To be fair, there will be four categories: Hameron, Huddy, O/C, and gen." When people asked "What about House/Wilson?" she said, "House/Wilson can go in gen." ??? LOLOLOL

Also: I don't watch the comms, for exactly this same reason. There's just too much to keep up with, and I can't wade through it.
