That really sucks about what happened to your friend. Men can be such assholes. Anyways, prom sounded fun!
I know what you mean about never getting awards in high school... like you, i had a high gpa, honor roll, student council, blah blah... and never once got an award. Screw awards lol. I bet you can't wait to graduate and move in with your sweetie! yay!
