Work update
It looks like I am officially under the employ of Wal-mart incorporated. Due to some sort of SNAFU int he marketing department (my guess is they are producing new propaganda), they cannot hold orientations for at least two more weeks. So I went and did the Job Offer (I will be making signifigantly more than I thought I would be, wootz) and got the drug test done. There is a background check I thought they would have done already, and I am worried about it. But if Nick passed it, I shouldn't have anything to worry about. All in all, everything is going well. Barring a Drug Test (no heroin and hookers to celebrate, darn.), I am gainfully employed as an "Overnight Electronics Salesperson" at the local Woodland Wal-Mart.

More good news
My first interview went smashingly. I have a second Interview at 12:30-in-the-PM tomorrow. And I can't see that going badly. After my ninety days, I will be a 40-hour-a-week full time Cashier. That means benefits too, I hope. We shall see. Positive thoughts. -
Good news for once.
So, today, at 5:00PM, I have an interview at Wal-Mart. I am dressed already, styled already, shaved already, and I have bus fare already. Everything is sitting pretty. All I need to do is blow them away for a simple cashiering position. This should be in the bag.
Employment, here I come. -
