28th creation

Oct 17, 2007 00:08

There are many things that can be said of anthropomorphic entities.

Apparently, prudent is not one of them.

Your days moonlighting as someone concerned only with the mundane is over it seems.

Time to tend to your flock.

The doors of Lux are open to patrons as always. Divine or otherwise. I have, you might say, a catholic approach to customers.

mazikeen = welcoming committee, the ace has been dealt, business as usual

Mm. Could have been worse.

((OOC: Alexiel's glad but still worried about Rosiel's reaction)).

Care to elaborate on that?

[ooc: sorry for the repost ._.]

As you noticed, thanks to Father, my brother isn't very emotionally stable. He loves and hates as intense as nobody else I have met can match. Often he does both at the same time.

That Rosiel reacted in a loving way is relieving. For now.

You're saying I should feel grateful?

I've had enough of vague threats and warnings.

I'm not going to wait and see what your brother is capable of doing.

Give me one good reason why I should stay my hand.

...

Not amused.

That would explain the laconic response.

What don't you find to your liking?

I do not want to control anyone, anything in this place. That goes for Rosiel.

But I fear for what will happen if I reject him outright.

That's the problem with choice, isn't it?

You'll have to live with the consequences.

Whatever they may be.

Addressing the First of Words so liberally...

...is that truly something you can afford to do, Star of the Morning ~ ?

Tem~per. Yours, mine, domesticated, hers now, isn't e~very~thing.

It's my exclusive privilege.

Problem?

A child's whim and folly. No more than due; no less than expected.

Creation is Her design. This too will abide Her order.

By extension, anything that is created in her name rightfully belongs to her, correct?

The same principle applies in reference to mentor and pupil.

Credit given where credit is due.

Neither is psychic.

It's not a question of omniscience, but one of discretion.

I, for one, never liked showing my hand when all the cards have not yet been dealt.

Lad, how was I to know it was a secret? It's obvious when one looks at the girl what she is, to an angel, I thought it would be more obvious still!

You've never been much for showing anything but the angry side of your eyes, Lucifer.

Your siblings saw fit not to divulge the information.

Having spent the last three centuries maintaining the secrecy of your abode, I would've thought you of all endless would know the value of privacy.

It was, obviously, a miscalculation on my part.

Flock? Surely, my Lord, it is a host she has now.

With all the complications in tow.

And here I thought I taught her better than that.

This was not of her making, and the city not yet silver.

[Private|Warded]

The angel may serve a purpose. For all her power this is not her creation. Few Gods may last without worship, his may burn bright enough to sustain her.

Until she abandons him.

Is that concern your showing? For creation you left behind or for the god you now serve?

Regardless, you do have a valid point.
