hang in there buddy. I'm feeling the same as you. I'm worried after all this work I'll just crawl deeper into debt. But the truth is if it is a degree that will take you to what you want then GET IT! You'll pay it off eventually. You'll pay it off just like the rest of us, doing jobs you hate in hopes for a promotion that will lead you to what you enjoy doing. I got my Certified Nurses Aide this summer for just that reason. I don't want to be a nurse, but I need money and medical experience. Sometimes we all have to do things we dislike and not know when it is going to end. I'm telling you though 20,000 isn't bad for something important like a degree. I'll be paying 30-40 thousand for med school excluding room and board. I'll be at least 100,000 dollars in debt upon graduation. I'll pray that by the time I make the stereotypical doctor's sallary 10 years down the road I won't be in over my head with bankruptcy. You either sink or you swim, only one way to find out. Pick the pool of your choice and jump in and find out.
