The same could be said for a Ventrue/Brujah Alliance. Where as Toreador and Brujah have complimentary skill sets, the Ventrue and Brujah had supplementary skill sets.

This is why, years ago in the Org, when there was a Ventrue/Brujah thing, the two clans ruled supreme.

A Toreador is normally better than a Ventrue if you can get the Toreador to focus on the right thing.

The Ventrue as a Clan are more focused on politics. The individual Toreador who focus on it are typically better than the individual Ventrue because the Tory is all on his own.
When the Ventrue and Toreador fought, the Tories nearly always won until they turned on each other or lost interest.

Furthermore, the Ventrue can't understand the passion the way a Toreador can.

I see your reasoning and do not dispute it. I'm not refuting your statement of Toreador and Brujah, I'm just extending it to Ventrue and Brujah as well.

In my opinion, the Ventrue-Brujah dynamic is totally different than the Toreador-Brujah one.

If you just pick two Clans that could be powerful if they work together, you can pretty much say any two Clans. That's really not the point I'm making.
