BEST WEEKEND EVER!! OMG!

yeah so over the last two days i have basically only slept, eaten, and bamboozled (yes i did just turn that into a verb heheheh). bamboozle was such a freaking awesome experience it was ridiculous and i just died from excitement. Here's my (humongous) recap of the days:

Saturday i woke up pretty late and then got ready and headed off to bamboozle w/ liz. When we first got there it was pretty freaking hot out and just not pleasant. We were running little late so we quickly ran over and watched the end of Hidden in Plain View. After that we decided to stay at the same stage and watch Hellogoodbye. This caused us to get really really really close to the stage and since the crowd was filled with girls who wanted to see hellogoobye we ended up extremely tightly packed with them. Then when they started it just got out of control and everyone was on top of people and pushing each other. It was insane and hard to breathe with the heat and people were falling down so liz and i just pushed our way out of the crowd and watched from afar. The next set of bands we saw were as follows: Armor for Sleep, Mae, Silverstein, Relient K. These bands were all amazing but we kept ourselves out of the mess of the crowd cause the people there were ridiculous and just a mess. The moment you went into the mob you got pushed and shoved and had to try and escape with getting like crushed. It was alright from far away tho since i could actually see the band that way and hear them just fine. So after those bands we got hot dogs that cost $3.50 then sat down until The Rocket Summer. When we got to the stage for the Rocket Summer we caught the end of Minus the Bear which was a pretty cute band then The Rocket Summer came on. The Rocket Summer was insanely cute and awesome but would've been better without all the stupid girls pushing their way to the front. I really enjoyed them nevertheless and love their music. After that we quickly went over to Motion City Soundtrack. Let me just say that i seriously love Motion City Soundtrack and was not about to let all the stupid people in the crowd ruin it for me. Then again i just saw them the week before but still <3! so during motion city we met some really cool guys one of whom had the prettiest blue eyes omg! and we just stuck with those people for most of the set cause they like us were fed up with the crowd and just trying to enjoy the music. So instead of moving with the crowd i just held my place and pushed them away from me instead of getting pushed. It was actually pretty fun and i really loved Motion City's set <3. Unfortunately and i have no idea at all as to how this happened, i ended up with mustard all over the bottom of my pants. It was the weirdest thing EVER! i got super pissed but i just continued to enjoy the concert. But regardless, Motion City Soundtrack was my favorite of that day probably followed closely by Thursday. In any case The All American Rejects were next and they were alright but i was getting pretty tired and fed up with not being able to see. Also a stupid mosh pit formed with these boys who thought they were the shit for doing so when they were just being retarded. We ended up leaving that early and getting ready for Thursday. Thursday kicked ass and the only downside to their set was the fact that i couldn't really hear the vocals. That didn't really matter too much tho cause i just sang along with every word i knew. After Thursday was over we decided against staying for Fall Out Boy cause by that time the crowd was massive and we definitely wouldn't have been able to see anything. Also, both liz and i have kinda stopped liking them anymore so it just didn't really matter. So instead of watching we left and had a little bit of a hard time remembering where the car was but found our way back and went home. There was no traffic at that point so we smooth sailed home. When we got to my house i quickly changed my pants then went to wendy's with liz.

On sunday, i first had to go to chinese school which was such a pain to get up for. Then again i feel bad when i miss class cause i love the kids in my class. After that i quickly ate then left to round two of Bamboozle with katie this time. Katie and i had a pretty funny time getting to Giant Stadium cause we kept on not paying attention and missing turns and stuff. We got there fine in general but we made a number of turn arounds that could've been avoided lol. Yeah so we got there and somehow ended up not paying for parking cause the people actually let us in the gate for like trucks and stuff. So we got in and ran to the stage where 30 Seconds to Mars was playing. We were able to watch like the last two songs and it was alright since i'm just getting into them so i didn't really care that much. We did make it in time for Acceptance which was far more important than 30 Seconds to Mars not that i don't love them too. Acceptance was freaking amazing and i just absolutely love their lead singer. I can't really explain it but something about the way he moves is amazing and he just looks sooo good even from afar <3. After that we went met up with Pat, Kira, and Jess and headed over to Method Man. Method Man was soooo random at Bamboozle but we decided to get close so that we could rock out to it anyways. By some weird chance of luck, i was looking around and realized that Ricky Bongo was in front of us and was like OMG THAT'S RICKY BONGO!! it was the weirded thing ever that we found each other amidst the insanity of the crowd. So by chance we found ricky, tommy lenahan, and lou braschi. These kids are perhaps my favorite kids ever! So we stuck with them and left Method Man to go see The Fall of Troy. I had never heard of them before, but i still enjoyed the music and rocked out. After they were done we stayed for the most random looking band ever called Van Stone. They were these weird metalheads with the guys wearing black leather with pointy studs all over the place and one guy was wearing a hell of a lot of fur and like a lion head over his head or something. soooooo weird!!!! It was really funny cause tommy got soooo into it and we had to like drag him away to go see say anything. Say Anything was cool but after i heard the song that wanted to hear i was ready to leave and the other wanted to and wait for Panic. WE were pretty deep in the crowd when Panic! at the Disco came on. Panic! was awesome but once again the crowd got a little insane and we had to get out. In the process, we lost lou and tommy and didn't meet up with them until after Underoath. In the meantime we found Greg and T.J. and watched most of Panic! then went over to watch Underoath. Underoath was awesome and altho i wasn't really into the music and had never heard of them before i had a great time just dancing and going nuts and screaming for them. Oh man it was funny how much i didn't really care what the music was. That day was so great that whatever played was great to my ears. I was having such a great time just surrounded by cool people. Oh and katie and i met this cool group of people, our "crowd surfing" friends. They were awesome and cool to talk to during Underoath. After their set was over we sat down in the middle of the concert area and just listened to SensesFail. we all needed a rest so we took it then and ate hot dogs and sausage dogs and stuff. After the break, we went to go watch Saves the Day. Saves the Day was simply incredible and the best along with Taking Back Sunday. We got right by the stage and we just being absorbed by the music. They are such a great band and i really really loved their performance. Tommy was hilarious and when this one fat and ugly girl was crowd surfing towards us he pushed her back the other way and she fell on the ground. it was really funny. Despite that Katie and I got suddenly very ballsy during this set and decided to crowd surf since so many people we doing it and the crowd was great. We got swept up into the deal and finally we just went for it. Katie went first and then Ricky helped me up and there i was crowd surfing. It was the COOLEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE OMG! once i was up there i was just in shock an awe and my fear was swept away. Katie and i ended up doing so three times at the Saves the Day set cause every time that we got back to our group we would decide to do it all over again so we did. The third time i went i actually got flipped upside down and basically it was like tumbling over people. It made me disoriented for a moment but was still really really fun! Oh man and greg and t.j. were at the back of the crowd and they actually saw us crowd surfing and were like omg that's jess and katie!! and another thing while i was up crowd surfing, i saw tommy and we both freaked out with the expression of HEY YOU'RE CROWD SURFING!!!/ HEY I'M CROWD SURFING!!! LOL! yeah so after the three times we left the crowd to make it to circa survive. Circa Survive was pretty cool, but i only went cause the boys wanted to go and we went with them. It was a good crowd nevertheless but when katie and i decided to leave we just put our bags on our fronts and had tommy and some other random people lift us and crowd surfed our way out. Once we were both out we walked around looking for t-shirts but they were all either not pretty or too expensive. We just hung out for a while in the meantime and ended up reuniting with Pat, Kira, and Jess and later with our "crowd surfing buddies." Finally AFI came on so we watched the beginning of their set while trying to locate tommy, ricky, and lou (who had their picture taken with method man!!!). We ended up leaving afi to find them and get ready for taking back sunday. once we found them we stayed with them for the show and finally TAKING BACK SUNDAY came on. TBS was freaking amazing and their set list was awesome. I seriously freaked out when they played Liar and Makedamnsure and You're So Last Summer since those are two of my favs oh man! also, we were being pushed around so much and some how i ended up holding tommy's hand for almost the entire time that they stayed! <3 About half way through the set, ricky, lou, and tommy left to beat the crowd so katie and i moved forward to look for Pat, Kira, Jess, Greg, and TJ. We got pretty close when we found out that they were way behind us. So we went back and finally found them and were able to watch the rest of the show there. We had a pretty decent view then so it was cool. At the end, TBS played This Photograph is Proof as the last song then for the encore played Divine Intervention and A Decade Under the Influence. For Divine Intervention, Adam Lazzara came on by himself and played it acoustic with not only the guitar but a harmonica as well that was pretty freaking talented of him. But then again at the very end of Decade, Adam Lazzara climbed up the scaffolding and hung by his legs upsidedown and continued singing like that! it was the craziest thing EVER and i couldn't believe that he seriously did that! it was insane!!! seriously! After that the show was over Greg, TJ, Katie, and I quickly found the car and got out of there before the humongous traffic started. SO we got out of there before the rush and went to Pilgrim quickly before heading home. Pilgrim was cuteness and was good like recovery time from the crazy day. Karen, the waitress, was really funny and was like "oh it's like Lollapollooza? I was young once, you know." it was a nice way to end the night instead of going straight home. Yet before long it was getting late so i went home and went rafting (did my hw) and got to bed at 1.

Today i was completely wiped out! at first i was really super hyper then i hit the wall 3rd period and felt utterly dead the rest of the day. When i got home i quickly went to sleep then got up and hung around and wrote this and watched 24 <3. good x's!
