ooof, i read the Inferno over the summer for that summer reading thingy that volding made us do. anyway interesting book, but believe me, u dont wanna be in the seventh level. i believe the seventh level has this punishment: running on, laying on, or buried in burning hot sand. the worse the violence, the more exposure to the sand there is. as well hot embers fall from the sky so that even those above the sand are scorched. for those running only the soles of their feet burn constantly and the embers leave a speckling of pain before falling off. for those who must lay on the sand, the sand scorches from beneath and the embers fall from above, and they wither in pain as embers land on them and they roll around trying to put out the embers with the scorching sand. and for those buried in the sand, they cannot move but forever endure the intense heat. just decided to let ya know!
