well, i like this boy. and he's in the air force. and after having an amazing night together he had to leave for his base in south carolina this morning. just sucks cause we both agreed that we coulda been something kickass. and now i'm just hoping that he keeps in touch like he said he would. and i pray that when he goes back to iraq nothing happens to him. i think it'd be sickly ironic (right use of the word?) if another john that i liked and really connected with and wanted to be with died.

this. just. sucks.

Wow, that's rough. I can't really relate on the same level, but I know how it is to be with someone and then they have to leave. I met my girlfriend last spring, and we fuckin' ruled together, but then she went to college in september, and it's a 4 hour drive. So I know how much that sucks. He'll most likly be fine though, he's in the Air Force not the Marines. You should definatly write to him though. He'll probably respond. When you're not around anyone you know, a letter from someone back home's always an awesome thing to get.

but if you think about it, isnt this what you said?
im not trying to sound like a dick if i do,
but you were talking to me about you getting hurt, and sort of deserving it
and maybe smartening up because of it,
i dont wish anything on you...
im even hoping he does keep in touch with you,
but what goes around will eventually come around to bite you in the ass.

i respect what you're saying. and i know that it's true. i just hope that nothing happens to him. i can deal with getting fucked over. there's worse that could happen, ya know? i just hope that nothing happens to him.
