Sounds like I should be waiting for version 2 where the 7 and 8r's are!

The way I see it, I'm not going to make it that far to warrant me worrying about it.

LOL... I didn't understand that comment the first time I read it but now it makes sense.

Right. Nothing juicy to report really. My boyfriend lives here with me and mum and all the juicy sex stuff happened while she was away in NZ and I was clearly too busy having good sex to come write in my journal :P

Lol... True... But it's not reeeeally a DDR comp. It's a "we haxxed our ITG machine and it now has every song ever made for DDR and some customs also" type competition.

Haxord DDR machine?? where!?

I am a fan of the old songs. and I am unhappy that the new Marion machine doesn't have many of my old faves.

Back in the day (a year or so ago) friends and I where seriously considering ordering in dance pads they use for the actual machines, and using our computers with a projector.

but as beeawwb, I lack the stamina these days

*goes to reminisce by playing Stepmania*
Captain Jack, Cartoon Heroes, Sweet, B4U... here I come.

Excuse the randomness, just seen you around LJ the last couple of days.. love the Icon :P

TTP Tunza Fun :) It's an ITG machine with USB slots for memory cards which also enabled us to hack into the game and add every song from every mix EVER. Definitely worth the trip if you're from the Dirty South (excuse the joke, I'm in competition mode) and the best value is probably Wednesday nights, they have a two hour super session for $11.

The reason Marion no longer has the old stuff as you call it is that they no longer have DDR as you know it. The machine they have is the same one I have in my store, Dancing Stage SuperNOVA. It's basically European DDR.

Sorry, I could seriously talk about that game all day long. It has been my life for the last 5 years, and yes I realise that makes me rather pathetic :)

I'll wait for the 2/3's comp before I grace the stage.....

Have you considering holding a DDR competition during the Fringe? Maybe even applying for it to be part of the Fringe? It might be a bit late by now... I don't know.

I know DDR ain't really "Fringe" to us, but perhaps it is to normal people. I can imagine Johnny Average really getting into it, say; if it was done at a fancy live venue somewhere in town. Especially if there was a Freestyle division.

Que?
