Today we went to pay my parking ticket at the council building and noticed that the street between the council and TTP was road blocked by police cops so we decided to leave the car and walk to TTP to have a look at what was going on ( Read more... )

yeah it was an old lady who got hit by a car crossing the road.
it is weird being around someone who has just died.

My bf found a head at the end of his driveway once. This man had hung himself over a bridge further up the road and the head had rolled down :(

I can't imagine how I would handle seeing a head at the end of my driveway. I don't think I'd be the same person I am now.

I thought it might have been an old lady because of the shopping and stuff on the ground. What a way to go :(

That sounds about right. It was so strange, I was sort of glad other people were watching the scene too because I felt slightly morbid, but I am so fascinated by death.

repulsively enough, i'm rather fascinated by this kind of thing too.
not that i'm heartless about it- hearing about deaths often move me a lot, i feel for the families of people, i've been known to cry over the death of someone i've never met...
but my morbid side is pretty interested. :/

My sisters bf is a police cop in a small country town and he knows I'm into death stuff so he tells me all these feral stories about the bodies he has to sit with while he waits for the coroner to drive 90 mins to get to him.

Creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy.

One body had been decaying for about two weeks and had merged with the carpet. When they went to pick this guy up, half of him stayed on the floor. When he told me that I was somewhat amused but now I just feel bad for laughing cuz I don't think the family of that guy would think I was a good person :(
