As of a week ago my life has changed dramatically. No longer am I at my parents' house, but rather I moved in with my in-laws (and hubby obviously). Since I'm not working and it is the summer vacation, I feel I should take advantage of that somehow.

My first goal was to reread Harry Potter 5 and 6, as well as to restart and finally finish the final ( Read more... )

:) Yay! I'm happy for you! Hopefully things are better in your husband's house.

And yay for finally reaching the end of book seven. But yes, it is a bittersweet feeling isn't it? :(

Bittersweet? I suppose. What really bothers me is that, since I hadn't read the last book, I had actually created my own ending for it and now it's hard to make Voldemort's daughter (the character I created for that ending) fit in with the real ending.

And since I love that made up character, I HAVE to find a way to make her fit in.

Also, I think the epilogue should have played more on Teddy and Harry. Considering Harry knows what it's like to lose a parent, and how precious a godfather is, you'd think there'd be a bit more regarding Teddy and Harry's relationship.

XD I see. (again, your "happily and sadly" made me think you meant bittersweet)

Yes, I would've liked to have seen more of Teddy and Harry's relationship in the epilogue as well. I'm curious about Teddy in general, and was a little surprised there wasn't more on him.

Nah, I was just sad for Perstena "Rany". See, before I read HP7, I didn't know about Hallows - only about Horcruxes. So I had made Rany an unwilling Horcrux and she had to commit the Killing curse on herself in order to allow Harry to finish off Voldemort.

Then I found out Harry stole my character's destiny (more or less) and it would be redundant if 2 characters had been unwilling horcruxes who had to die, so now I need a new destiny for her.

Considering how much time I spent making up her background story (especially how she came to exist considering Tom wasn't one to actually have a relationship), I don't want her gone just because JK Rowling and I had the same idea.
