It's funny when you realize that your parents are human. They cease to be those everloving caregivers for a split second and you see them as equals, that they share in the fear and hardship of life. Then you realize that you've risen to their level and beyond in your life, and that it was their influence and support that got you there, no matter how little or alot it was. The story was sad, I liked it. I couldn't even try to imagine what it would be like if things had turned out differently in my life.
