[Miranda and Lavi entered the closest kitchen to get a simple snack for lunch time. Miranda wasn't in the mood for anything big thus she happily thanked the dressing room for always having fresh fruit and grabbed herself a pear before sitting down at the table while Lavi went about getting his own lunch.]

[Bookman went about collecting the ingredients for a sandwich and placed them on the counter, before opening the refrigerator. However instead of being greeted by chilled food, he was greeted by... Knell. His red-headed, eye-patched apprentice had somehow ended up not only inside the Dressing Room but inside the refrigerator. She leapt out, and it was all Bookman could do to avoid getting accidentally tackled.]

[The girl looked around in a panic, visible eye wide with shock.] Wh-what? Where-

[She looked between Miranda and her teacher, utterly bewildered.] Bookman? What's- How is she here?

[Knell gestured to the woman, recognizing her from historical records but failing to comprehend how this could happen.] What's going on?

[Miranda, in mid chew, stared with her mouth open, showing all the helpless villagers while she looked at the young girl who had tumbled out of the fridge.]

[Bookman shook his head and simply handed his apprentice a pamphlet.] Read it. Memorize it. It'll explain a lot faster.

[She took the pamphlet and read it quickly, then handed it back to him with a disbelieving look.] So that's... Not the Miranda you knew when you were younger.

[Knell walked over to her and looked her up and down, memorizing her appearance.] I'm Knell, Bookman Jr. It's good to meet you, Ms. Miranda. [Her words were automatically polite, habitual and disingenuine but not unkind.]
