YAY! Finally got a hold of SIL!! She will be meeting me in a few hours to head over to Dukes. Damn them for moving from Dante's! I guess this just means that I have to actually get off my ass and figure out what's wrong with my car so I can start driving down here :( But I think it'll be good w/ Ems. True it's not my first choice to go with, but she's cools. I don't know after the drive down here this morning I think I might prefer Ems over new GF in some respects. GF was kinda bitchy about her "precious precious child" and how other kids act with him. Of course it was my niece & nephew she was bitching about so I was like, well ya know you're gonna have to get over this whole, "my poor poor little boy is so picked on!" If he cant interact with other children then you better start looking for somewhere to hide him away :-/ My niece is 4, she is the youngest of 5 so of course she is fascinated with people little than her. She thinks it's a novelty. She's a child for pete's sake! It's not like she stands there and goes 'Hmm... I wonder exactly how I can piss my Uncle's GF off today!" But of course she has spent the majority of her life around me and that is completely something I would do :D And what is it that makes the new SOs think they get to run down the ex's? Bubba & his wife had a amicable divorce. Sure they had their rough spots in their marriage and they still have their rough spots dealing w/ each other, but they still care for each other as friends. They have 3 children together! But GF insisted on running Ems down constantly on the drive down. Now Youngest Bro's divorce was not so friendly. He & his ex have 2 children together and they can hardly be civil to each other the 10 minutes a week they see each other to exchange the kids. Yet his GF has never said one thing against his ex. She has met her & she isnt fond of her, but she respects her place in YBro's life. I don't understand. Maybe because Bubba & Ems had such a decent divorce (if any divorce can be called that, not many of the ones I've seen) she feels threatened that maybe Bubba will go back to Ems? I don't know. I just wish she would stop trying to pit us against her. She is the mother of my niece and two nephews and she will always have a place in my life regardless of what GF thinks.
