Seattle w/ Lil' Sis
So after a very depressing trip to Portland, I ended up heading the other direction yesterday! On my way back home Sat I get a random, out of the blue, text from Lil' Sis!! I get very sporadic contact from her, she is one of those people who when she has a SO she forgets everyone else but that person. Last time I really heard from her was back in Jan on her bday. But anyways, she was in Tacoma and wanted to know if I wanted to spend Sun in Seattle with her since she was up in this area. Uh, yeah of course! I LOVE Seattle!!!! So she picked me up Sunday morning and we spent the day wandering around the city. We started out @ Pike Place Market, which is the first time I've ever been there even though having lived here majority of my life. It's such an awesome place, only downside was that I am flat-ass broke so I couldn't buy anything :( I want to go back this summer with the kids, they'd enjoy it so much.

After Pike Place, we headed over to the Seattle Center and wandered around for a while. We decided to forgo the Space Needle after finding out it was over $25/person to go up. Total sadness!

And this would be Eugene's answer to budget cuts @ UofOR - sell tickets to ride their "Ducks" LOL!!
On the way home we went by Husky Stadium so Lil' Sis could see the amazingness that it is. She, like pretty much everyone who has gone, was amazed at the view from the stadium.

All in all, it was a very nice day.
