Chapter 42 Summary
SO I HAD A BIT OF FUN WITH THE SPOILERS IN CHAPTER FORTY-TWO. DON'T JUDGE ME.
Break perhaps should have seen that Sharon would be very angry with him for hurting himself and hit him with her fans; it's really his own fault. When Break asks what happened after he collapsed, Oz tries to explain but he was blindsided by Elliot's reaction to Oz's wish to be his friend. Then they talk about the things they saw while near the Abyss. However, both Oz and Liam are insightful enough to notice that something is terribly wrong with Break. Later, Alice and Sharon talk about how Break's love for Sharon meant that he tried to blind her to the truth of what was going on with Sabrie/Sablier. Alice offers to help but she doesn't have a lot of insight into human emotions and so is blind to what Sharon really wants. Finally, the creeper kid from earlier is talking to his father - which we probably should have seen coming.
