Translation: Shimabito Dayori Vol. 2

Jul 27, 2012 01:42

Hello, guys!
It's been a while since the last time I posted a translation, hasn't it?
Well then, the article I'm translating this time is from Shimabito Dayori which is a magazine issued by the city Aoi comes from, Shima-city (志摩市, Shima-shi)! It's a bit old (from 2007 ^^;) and short, but it doesn't matter haha XD I found it nice that he got an article written about himself by the people from his hometown~ ^o^

Some notes:
Shimabito = Shima-person
Shimacho(u) / Shima-cho(u) = (志摩町) One of Shima-city's municipalities which consists of Wagu, Fuseda, Koshika, Goza and Katada. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the exact place Aoi comes from is Wagu (和具) :3

The original article can be found here.

Well then, let's go~♪

ShimaBito Dayori vol. 2

Hot Shimabito Discovery:

___the GazettE / guitarist  Aoi ___

As the band members are entering the stage, the venue is shaking from the thunderous cheer. During the member's performance the fans in there become one and the excitement increases even more.

Enjoying heated support from many young people and expanding their activities across the whole country: the popular band "theGazettE". Their guitarist Aoi-san is a "Shimabito" that comes from Shimacho.

When the Shimabito Memorial Assembly was held last year on November 28th, the GazettE started at the same time their tour in Sapporo.They even performed in Mie-prefecture's Tsu-city, and that's where I got to participate at, too. It goes without saying that the performance was brimming with power, and the time flew by while I was awestruck by the atmosphere of the venue that was going crazy with excitement. Standing in front of a Shimabito that bewitches and moves so many young people, my heart was naturally filled with joy. From now on I'd like to support theGazettE and Aoi-san from afar, from the grounds of Shima.
