lol k, URI had about like 2000 kids at the quad and we were very very VERY non violent. Everyone was chanting "fuck the yankees", "Whose your papi", "Johnny Damon" (one of which I proudly started), but we didnt get as far as "fuck the police"... not after last year. I think that was a lesson learned. I personally was there at URI and I dont know how much of a riot you may call it. It was more of a joyous celebration since no one was really rioting. We were all cheering and jumping and shouting in disbelief of what happened. Yeah, its one of the greatest stories for baseball in this century and the red sox are going to the world series, but honestly tell me, if people start to lose their lives, is going to and winning the world series worth people losing their lives? Its one thing to celebrate, its another thing to cross the line. But being a die hard red sox fan, Im too happy to get into a bad mood, and I cant wait to see the Sox play the world series and hopefully win it this year. I will keep my fingers crossed and pray for the best ( ... )

nooo it isn't worth celebrating like that
but it wasn't that girl's fault that died either

yeah definitely. she was said to be a bystander and its a shame she had to be the victim. as for the world series, weather we win or lose, I hope people celebrate cautiously, because it would be a damn shame if everyone lost them minds and screwed things up.

Did yall here about that 22 year old that died at the game? its quite sad.. they were all celebrating in the stands of course, and so the police warned they were goign to shoot off there pellet guns. One officer did, and shot the girl RIGHT IN THE EYE! The girl looks just like Sarah Coinne, anyway, she bled to death right in her friends arms.. i hate police THERE FUCKING DUMB. ): ): ):
