Dustin was here last week and we had a really nice time, aside from two Sundays ago, which I'll just refer to as "the lost day" or "the day we spent eight hours buying a shirt." It was so wonderful to have a pal and an ally so close by, but I'm sad because the rest of my life is dry and contrived and I'm obsessed with work, all of which are my own

awe i'm sorry to hear that life is still kind of nuts! good luck with the resumes, i hate job hunting. hate hate hate HATE! it's so hard and intimidating and often thankless. but, i have been assured that it will all 'work out alright'- i think that means that eventually the right person will get the resume and think it sounds like a good match. i just hope it happens for you soon! hang in there!
