Title: Sentimental Value

Word Count: 175
Notes: Another one that wasn't intended for
letter_love, but I made it that way. Written over my lunch break for
holycitygirl who asked that I use the words "drama" and "frivolous" and have a happy ending. Absurdity and mushiness ensues.
The drama had erupted quite suddenly on a Tuesday.
“I don’t care that you borrowed the shirt, Mark. I care that you didn’t ask first.”
“How does that make sense?”
“If you’re going to wear something of mine, just ask first. That’s all! You know I’ll say yes.”
“But if I know you’re going to say yes, isn’t it a bit frivolous to ask? I’m a firm subscriber to the borrow, wear, return course of action.”
Roger started to pout, something Mark had officially banned after the first night they hooked up and knew that this was it, what had been missing these past years.
“Mark, that shirt has sentimental value.”
“Does it?” Mark asked with a smirk.
Roger blushed and mumbled something.
“Sorry? Didn’t catch that.”
“I said, I was wearing that shirt the first time I met you.”
Mark grinned broadly and ran one hand across his stomach, feeling the smooth, worn cotton. “I know,” he said, stepping forward and pulling Roger into his arms, kissing his shoulder. “That’s why I like it.”
