Maybe you should try and do a lighter color in your hair. like dye it all a brownish red. or put highlights in it so its not so drastic.

i deffinatley like it shorter and choppier.
maybe you should get an all over lighter color, maybe dark/mid brown? just to make it less harsh on your face, because the black is soo harsh! then you could lighten it up even more with a bunch of thin, carmel highlights.
