This is awesome. I thought I was the only one who still loved this pairing. Dean has a need to belong, I think, and while Dean/Cas is the light side of that for me, Dean/Alistair is the dark side of it.

Alistair was the whole of Dean's world for 40 years, and personally I've always thought Dean left the rack for more the pain. Alistair gave him something to belong to, a new purpose. And as much as Dean feared him, he also needed his approval and even probably held some affection/attraction for him.

Anyway, I think you've got both of them spot on.

-claps- I kinda sorta really love Dean/Alistair. They're my OTP. There's not one other pairing I've found that is as consistently dark as this one. Some come close, but most don't. Nor are they dark all of the time. If you like Dean/Ali check out melanth0. Lots of Dean/Ali art hidden in there. Lovely stuff. XD

You've got Dean's perverted need to belong down to a science, and the cold, twisted depravity of your Alistair compliments him beautifully.

I particularly loved your description of Dean's transformation into a work of art under Alistair's blade.
