After spending a weekend in Montreal, I officially take back every bad thing I have ever said about our great neighbors to the north. The stout, fine, moose-loving people welcomed me with open arms and ushered me into a world with no open container laws

Oh give me a break. Canada has always been willing to protect draft dodgers. The two guys you're speaking of are a considerably different issue, as they both volunteered to join the armed services, but don't talk about there being 'hundreds of years of established extradition treaty law' that's being violated. Canada has always been willing to violate it when needed.
