Anyone else have a Nintendo DS with this game? It's so fucking addicted, I'm so ashamed! I haven't played video games in years, but I have been playing this thing all day long.

I want to visit someone else's town!

Dammit I so just traded in my copy a month or so ago because it was basically the same as the GameCube version !

We have Tetris, Metroid and Mario Kart, too. I tried Tetris online a couple nights ago before bed and got roasted by some Japanese symbols! If you listened really closely you could hear something in my brain pop as my mind was blown at their level of Tetris skill.

But then I got my payback when I did Mario Kart. It's the same as the old SNES and N64 versions and I was the master at those!!!

I play all the time, but we don't have wireless internet here in the apartment. (It's useless to have it, cause the neighbors would all just kite free internet off us, the leeches...) I know there's a doodad to buy for the DS so you can wire it up to the regular cable modem, but I haven't gotten it yet since my local friends and I all use the DS to DS wifi. ^_^

I really really love that game. ^_^;

It seems like it will take a long, long time to advance though, right? I was able to pay off my first mortgage, and my house will be expanded tonight...but looking stuff up on the internet makes future expansion seem pretty intimidating!

I can't figure out any real good ways to make money. Any ideas?

Okay, you need to start a tree cultivation program. Gradually, replace the non-fruit bearing trees with fruit trees. You'll need the shovel and the axe. Basically, shake some fruit off a tree, find a non-fruit tree and chop it down with the axe, then dig out the stump with the shovel and plant the fruit in the hole that remains. In about four days, it will be a fruit tree. (You can also just run around planting fruit wherever you find an empty spot for more fruit trees.) Fruit from other towns sells for more than fruit from your town- the fruit your town launches with sells to Nook for 100 bells each, but other fruit sells for 500 bells each. So, if you get any exotic fruits (your "mom" in the game will sometimes mail you some) don't sell them, plant them! Coconuts might also wash up on your beach- you can plant those too, but only along the shoreline

I adore Animal Crossing DS! Although I havent played in awhile (and I bet my town is riddled with weeds :\) But it is quite addicting, and going wifi is loads fun!
