I liked seasonal filler jobs. Not only did you have some extra spending money for gifts, but depending on where you work, you get good discounts on things, as well. I remember when I was a holiday temp for Natural Wonders, that nature/discovery/science store in the mall... I got little jade figurines for everyone on the cheap.
