Wow, you've finished a whole fanfic? That's awesome! I've only ever written oneshots, so I have no idea how it feels like to end a multi-chaptered story... But I hope I can be accomplished like you someday!

I should totally go check it out, huh? I've been really busy with life lately... let's see if I can make some time.

Weirdness. I've been updating this story pretty regularly, adding a new chapter every three weeks; except yesterday I uploaded the last two chapters eight minutes apart and changed the description to add the word COMPLETE.

A short time later I was reading the uploaded version of the second-to-last chapter and discovered a couple of rather grievous typos that I was amazed made it past me. I checked my original document and found that the typos weren't in it, but for some reason FFdotN elected to delete three words from that chapter. Specifically, it deleted the last word of a sentence, the period, and then the first word of the next sentence rendering that passage into a complete clusterfuck, and then it deleted a third word a few paragraphs later.

I went in and corrected this, adding the missing words and punctuation. Where it gets strange is that after I made these simple changes, the story total word count went from 47,039 to 47,167.

I'm left scratching my head at this one..

I'm so glad you had a great experience with this story, that makes me really happy. :33 I hope I can get back to reading fanfics after the big bang process is finished on my end - and I got your note about the big bang (way behind on responding to everything after a weekend of two family birthdays) - and I'm glad you've enjoyed that experience, too!

Yeah, FF.N does the random ass word count thing to me, too - I will take out two words and suddenly they say I have 200 more words?!?

Thanks! :) It really is quite a feeling. I'll miss working on it, too.

That word count thing is strange...and this is the first time I've ever copied something from MSWord, pasted it somewhere else, and have three completely random words disappear from it. Guess I have to add another layer to my proofreading process now...oh, joy :c)
