Update on my boy and me

I had my first checkup, to clear me for driving and to take off the tape that was covering my incision. They had taken my staples out before I left the hospital, and instead had these tape strips covering it. My blood pressure is back to normal (yay!) and now I've got no tape holding me together. I'm allowed to drive, but not go back to work yet

Oh yeah... that's one thing that's keeping my spirits up -- that he's definitely a fighter. He seems to be hitting normal things that babies born at 27 weeks gestation seem to hit, and not anything completely horrible, so I'm keeping hopes up that it'll be at least mostly smooth sailing.
