It's different now. You no longer mingle with familiar beings, and along with that which you left behind, the warm atmosphere that had once wrapped you in a loving embrace has now dissipated. Comforting faces have disintegrated from your sight and are replaced with unknown faces that you don't quite recognise. These people looking at you,

Oh, I can so relate to this. Exchanges are so hard at first. I promise you, it does get easier, and you'll get used to it, I promise. And then you can just enjoy how awesome it is living away from home. Just watch out for trams in the meantime, I hear they're pretty deadly in Melbourne. ;D ♥
